PAMPERING 4 PAWS DOG GROOMING – TERMS & CONDITIONS
Cancellations
Please call me straight away, if you are unable to make your appointment. As a self employed sole trader, cancelled appointments are costly, especially if I am not able to offer the appointment to another client. Whilst I realise that sometimes a cancellation is unavoidable I do ask that where possible you please give at least 24 hours notice; otherwise the full fee may be charged for the missed appointment.
Please do also try to be on time. I will do my best to accommodate you if you are unavoidably detained but please call and let me know if this is the case.
De-Matting
Please see the page “Dematting Policy“
NB: De-matting can be a time consuming process and extra time will be chargeable. You will be fully consulted and made aware of any additional charge to be levied.
Dropping Off & Collection
Please be on time when collecting your dog. I offer a 1:1 grooming service to all my doggy clients and if you have not collected your pet on time this affects others. I do not have the space to hold your dog longer than his/her allotted appointment slot and retaining dogs unnecessarily causes stress.
Working with animals can be unpredictable at the best of times and I try to adhere to tight timescales and dogs arriving or being collected after their allotted time does have a knock on effect for all dogs thereafter.
Aggressive Dogs
Dogs that require muzzling may be charged at a higher than standard grooming rate. This is because dogs showing aggression take much longer than normal to groom. I do also reserve the right to refuse a dog that represents a risk of injury to itself or me, or to send home a dog, even if the dog is only partially completed.
Dogs that show aggression, will be muzzled for their safety and ours, I will provide the appropriate breaks and only muzzle for the minimum amount of time possible. If muzzling causes great distress to your dog, I will remove the muzzle and ask you to collect your pet as soon as you can.
Toileting
Please ensure that your dog has emptied his bowel and bladder before the grooming session. A dog with a full bowel finds the whole grooming process uncomfortable.
